He had asked himself many times, why the total destruction of his greatest rival wasn't so appealing as it had been only a few weeks ago, but all his reasoning brought him grinding back to the one that he didn't want to hear. He wasn't controllable and she hadn't changed him, but she was making him want to change. Kakarrot's death was the only thing that Bulma would never forgive him for. He was her best friend, and although that didn't mean anything to the Saiyan no Ouji, she did. His job as her mate was to protect her and ensure her well being. He couldn't attack her in that way and still call himself her mate.
